January Drive and Lunch

A beautiful morning in Moore County for a club drive through the Sandhills followed by lunch at Homegrown in Vass. Much thanks to our club members for braving the chilly air. Our 60 mile loop started off in the Village of Pinehurst, then took us out through country roads to Jackson Springs. We hooked back towards Seven Lakes from there and headed out towards Carthage. After a brief midway pit stop in downtown Carthage, we headed southeast towards Vass and our lunch destination – Homegrown – an excellent eatery located on Old US 1 in the heart of Vass. After a very delicious meal, the group rallied through horse country down Young’s Road, ending up in downtown Southern Pines to finish up the drive.
