Morgan Ridge Rally & Brunch

Following our October 3rd Cars & Coffee in the Village, SMC Members, joined by sponsors Foreign Cars Italia and Hagerty, along with members of the Greensboro Ferrari Club, took a country drive to Morgan Ridge Winery & Brewhouse. While Ferrari’s dominated the rally line, Porsche was in the lead, with Jaguar in second place.

Our route took us from the heart of Pinehurst, out through Foxfire and Jackson Springs and into the Uwharrie National Forest. The twists and turns were just the right amount of challenge for a Sunday drive, of course the Ferrari’s had no trouble keeping up.

Ninety minutes later We arrived at Morgan Ridge Winery & Brewery, located in Gold Hill, which offers a beautiful venue and scenery, the perfect backdrop to our brunch. Brunch was served buffet style in their outdoor pavilion, accompanied by locally crafted beers, Morgan Ridge wines, and mimosas. After getting our fill of food and automotive camaraderie, everyone was free to explore the area roads for more adventures or head back to home base.
